High Speed Columns - PuriFlash
Interchim provides columns packed with highly efficient spherical silica.
The 15µ and 30µ columns improve resolution and reduce run times by up to 70%.
Spherical silica has superior flow properties when compared to irregular shaped, flash grade silica. As a general rule, 30µ puriFlash and 40-60µ flash grade silica have similar pressure values.
PuriFlash columns are packed with either 15, 30 or 50µ particles. Columns are available from 4g to 1.6kg and are compatible with any flash system.

PuriFlash columns are compatible with any manufacturers’ system. The high pressure rating ensures optimum performance when using increased flow rates with smaller particles. Columns are available in liquid injection and dry-load formats.

To support the demand for higher flow rates, Interchim has introduced the puriFlash 430evo instrument
The PuriFlash 430evo is a state of the art, automated flash purification system. The heart of the system is the high pressure pump which can be used in a "true" quaternary gradient mode by mixing up to four solvents with 1% accuracy.

The higher pressure rating is well suited to support the 15µ puriFlash columns.
The heart of the system is the pump which can deliver a true quaternary gradient at up to 200ml/min.
Drastically reduced run times are realized by increasing flow rates on columns packed with highly efficient silica.
The seven minute run in the graph to the left uses a 15µ, 25g column at 40 ml/min. The flow is double the rate which is typically considered for a 25g column. Despite the increased flow rate, resolution is superior to a standard 40-60µ column and completed in a fraction of the time.
