The addition of the reagent triggers the actual chemical derivatization of the analyte. It will either OPA / or Thiofluor Trione (ninhydrin) were used.
The OPA/Thiofluor can be used for all forms of HPLC - post-column derivatization.
Trione is a reagent for the automatical post-column derivatization for primary and secundary Aminoes and Amino Acids. Trione Ninhydrin Reagent is a propriertary formulation containing Hinhydrin, Hydrindantin (reduced Ninhydrin), a Lithium Acetate buffer, and Sulfolane, a water-miscible organic solvent.
It is so stable that it does not require refrigeration, either in shipment, storage, or in the reservoir.
Two preparations are available to suit your usage and storage requirements: T200 combine two solutions, swirl and use, twelve-month shelf life.
